Good climb, very well protected, I think I put 7 in, hence good for a novice at this grade as you won't fall far and can practice putting protection in.

I think most novices at S 4a would be in for a bit of a shock at this one. Well protected perhaps, but sustained jamming comes as a bit of a surprise, and like most things at this crag, steeper than it looks from the ground. HS 4b.

Steep sustained 4a, hence feels harder, however whatever you do on The Stones is steep, definatley worth its star!
