An interesting route. Poorly protected in upper half, hence deserves E1 I think.
Low end 6a to the first good hold,gear at half height thats yer lot. Rounded but pebbly severish to the top. Not sustained enough to be a hidden gem.
The finish may be 'severish' in Yorkshire grades, but in Stanage grades (an entirely different system that looks similar) it's 4c-ish well above your gear (or very high off the ground if you're soloing). And the start ain't 6a, even in Stanage grades (try Big Screams!) |
