An excellent route. I usually do it in 2 pitches, mainly coz the ledge is such a beautiful spot from which to belay.
Superb route. One comment - I put a cam behind the main flake, but took it out as soon as I realised how hollow the flake sounds! Tough for HS - much harder than Artillery Chimney.
Excellent Route, sustained at the grade with every move requiring thourght.
This is bog standard HS with good rests between excellent moves and with decent nut protection. It must be the best HS in the entire Peak!
I must have missed something as I thought it a fairly ordinary route! Fairly standard HS fare, and not really comparable to Artillery Chimney as the type of climbing is totally different.
