Follow meander to the platform the traverse out to the well-positioned arete o sadly it is often rather dirty. USER COMMENTS
Initial groove is awkward, out of keeping with the rest of the route and best avoided by walking round! The arete itself was very dirty when we climbed it and the inital moves to get to the arete v height dependant!
Surely the arete must be HVS 4c? Apart from a psychological micro wire and tiny cam, my last gear was about 3m below my feet when I made the hard move to the top break. |
