16m. From the ledge of the Left-hand climb the groove above and continuation crack with plenty of pumpy 'interest' to an eventual rightward exit. USER COMMENTS
Long reach in the middle groove. Old peg beyond the groove, then not much in the way of gear. Still need to concentrate as you would go a long way if misjudged the easier finishing moves.
This is the most underrated (quality wise) route i've climbed yet. The top is fairly bold but most of the 4c moves are reasonably protected. I don't understand why the holds aren't more polished. It's the one of the best VS at Wilton.
A good route, so long as Hank isn't soloing up and down it as you're trying to lead it.
Don't forget to place a good runner in the easier top section - the top out into the mud and heather can be as hard as the climbing ! An excellent route. |
