This is VERY soft.
E1 5c? You have to be joking - and I'm a 'VS on a good day' punter. HS 4b more like, unless it's mega reach dependent. It even has reasonable gear in the breaks if you want to lead it.
with you all the way on that one george, who ever graded it must have been having a bad day.
hi there guys, its a bit soft touch i know but are you sure you climbed the correct route. Some guide books have it pictured incorrectly, it was only until i met a local that i found out we had be doing the wrong arete.
the thought did cross my mind at the time,we did the arete to the left next to the walk off, can you throw some light on it rob.. its got to have more to it than that.!
A quick search on ukclimbing suggests that the descent is described in the wrong place in the BMC lancs guide, and hence this route is drawn on the wrong arete in the Rockfax guide. I have yet to go back and see if this makes sense, but it sounds about right. |
