The most direct way to the summit. 1) 5, 20m. The middle line of three. 2) 5, 15m. A good upper pitch well worth seeking out.
Not sure about those pitch lengths, guess this is only of interest to people using 50 m ropes.
The platform at the top is one of the best places to watch the sun set in the valley!!
Quite sure about the pitch lengths - 29m and 27m! Following the line of the topo on pitch 2 (rather than deviating to the right on the 2nd steep wall) makes it harder than 5.
A gentle first pitch builds into a fantastic slightly exposed finale. Agree with the route lengths!
The first pitch is about 3+ and is about 27m long. The second pitch is where its at and is about 25m long.
First pitch is 4 and the top is approaching 6a...
Im not sure how the book can be so incorrect about the length of these two pitches. I agree with Pied Piper on the lengths, 29m and 27m. I did them both in one long pitch using a 60m rope, but make sure you use runners to extend the quickdraws because there is significant rope drag, especially with all the roofs and mantles on the second pitch. The first pitch is quite easy, probably more like a 4, 4+ but the second pitch has plenty of moves in the 6a range.
