Adjacent Routes Desperate start. USER COMMENTS
Very fine route on great rock - very sandstone like in the middle section. Start up the arete is bloody desperate, but don't think it's all over as some committing and highly tenuous moves lurk above...
The hardest moves at the start can be avoided by swinging in to the first pockets from the right. It is still tough but not not quite as tenuous.
Desperate just about sums up the start...otherwise very nice route with a small technical section mid-route.
I thought the start up the arete was ok - so very pi**ed off to blow the onsight higher up. |
