Adjacent Routes 35m. A never-ending pitch. The first half up the rounded orange rock, to the intermediate lower-off, includes the crux. USER COMMENTS
6b+ to lower off, upper section is actually easier, cant understand why this was originally given 6c+
Not one to finish the day on and definitely longer than 35m all the way to the top.
The crux (if there is one) is at the top rather than at the intermediate lower off...
Awesome route- a contender for the best sport route I've ever done. Sustained!
Awsome. Brilliant value for 6b+. Upper section should definitely bump the grade to 6c.
I would agree with 6c overall.
6b to intermediate lower-off - 6c to the top. Nice to see the comment changed from 'the first half is a good warm up' in the old guidebook to 'the first half includes the crux'..
Another brilliant flowing climb - I would give it 6c overall
A really good long route (longer than 35m - a 70m rope will not make it all the way down).
I felt that the climb was about right for the grade. It felt a bit run out between the bolt before the intermediate lower off and the intermediate lower off itself.
Get's 6c+ in the new (late 2009) Siurana guide, and in the local pamphlet guide. Feels more like 6c. A 75m rope just gets you back to the ground with rope stretch.
If you use a 70m rope, weigh 70kg (154lb) and unclip all quickdraws you get 1.5m (4.5 feet) away from the ground. There are two mini crux: middle (with commitment) and top (technical dihedral). Overall: strongly recomended! |
