Adjacent Routes 25m. A wandering affair but with some good climbing. Pull through the initial overhang and climb the outer edge of the block to its top - many escape at this point. Stride across onto the main face and move left and climb just right of Right Twin Chimney for a couple of moves, then traverse left to finish up the final easy section of Twin Chimneys Buttress. Possible stance on top of the block
I've always found this a bit hard for severe.
I fell off the bottom of this and decked out ages ago! There isn't much gear in the first few metres. Did it again the other day. The traverses at the top are lovely! Hard for severe.
Led this one yesterday - after abortive attempts to scale the block via the left,(I'm not very tall) went up from the RHS. (Judging by the chalk, I'm not the first!) Enjoyed the route, especially the great hand traverses to reach the finish.
The left arete of the block is a pleasant S 4 start, steep but juggy |
