Felt more like 6a to me! Not the gentle warm up I was expecting, technical climbing all the way , the 1st pitch on Deutsch Wall is easier!
Certainly didn't feel like the other 5+ routes we did at La Poltrona! A challenging route on which it felt like the clips were too far to the left of the good holds. Quite a stretch for a smaller person! Satisfying to complete.
Agree with Penny, I found the bolts a long reach left too, but my second didnt and we are the same height (he has longer arms...).
Can be wet at times, but still climable! Definitley a 5+ though high in the grade.
The bulging start and a few of the moves in the middle made me feel it was 6a. Even though the other moves are comparitively easy, overall I think it is under-graded, especially compared to the other lower grade routes there, over to the far-right. |
