Polished, and like the other routes on this sector, hardly inspiring.
A nicely polished start adds to entertainment - further up there as some lovely jugs if you go looking for them. The shade is wellcome relief.
There's a smell coming from somewhere though!
Very good climbing on surprisingly positive holds, with the crux reaching the lower-off point.
The overwhelming smell of piss at the base of the climb ruined the route. Polished unpleasant start (we're on holiday - don't do polish!), nice juggy middle section and a nice intricate finish. Elsewhere, might warrant a star or two.
I must have been on a different route from most others here! Polish not really a problem at the start... good climbing on mostly big holds... no smell. Excellent route.
More endowed with natural cracks and features than most routes here - I even managed to use a hand jam !
Found this horribly polished at the start. Was going to lead it but changed my mind after a bolt or two so seconded it instead. Looks like they even changed the line for the start of the route as the name and a stripped bolt are over to the left, which makes it a little artificial. The top half didn't redeem it for me.
Ugh - the worst route of 2005; many, many better lines (and unpolished) opposite and up the gorge.
Great route with some wonderful, if spaced, holds. Didn't have a problem with the bit of polish, but my belayer did complain about the smell! |
