Route Grade Votings

Adjacent Routes 130m. Undoubtedly climbed before Bill claimed it for the Birkett dynasty. The route takes the obvious gully near the centre of the crag. A steep start leads to easier climbing before the gully narrows to a technical section before the top. USER COMMENTS
My dog climbed this a few years ago, with the route in full winter conditions. Apart from needing a dozen steps cutting for him he cruised it. He didn't use axes, but had two pairs of crampons!
Excellent water ice when we did it, giving three good pitches increasing in difficulty the higher you climb. One of the best routes of the grade in the Lakes when in condition. |
