Adjacent Routes 12m. The left-hand crack is arguably the best of the trio leading steeply, past plenty of runners, to an easy finishing groove. USER COMMENTS
Combined with Sociology and Anatomy a good learner route/s.Take your pick on the easier/harder line and enjoy the view through Gargoyle Buttress into the next bay.
A nice route - an steady start then tons of places for gear in the middle section where it feels most tricky. Mind you don't work yourself into the corner too much (as I did) as exiting can be a bit tricky! The top is a bit of a staircase...
Nice easy beginners route. Lots of gear placement options for the first half and, once onto the ledge, it's very easy plain sailing to the top. Nice view though.
All too easy to get suckered into the corner and a bit off-balance making it a lot more strenuous and more of a drama than strictly necessary - don't you just love Stanage!! |
