This felt a bit too much like a silly eliminate to me, although the holds do feel good. Trying to avoid the VDiff to the right I managed to engineer a hard mantleshelf to get onto the face. But it's just a bit too squeezed in between other routes. I think it would be much better with an escape right near the top and be re-graded Severe
I thought it was cracking, really nice moves if you just use the flake and not just a one move wonder at the grade.
Agree that it is tricky to avoid other routes either side, but some nice stuff and much cleaner than Beggar's Crack.
Quite a hard mantleshelf to get established on the central wall. A bit eliminate but v nice moves and well protected.
Really enjoyed this route. Grade good and protection is very easy. Stay off the left hand side and this is a good challenge.

Don't understand most of these comments. Lovely route, felt easier than Manchester Buttress, so I thought HS. As for the "stinker of a move" - one word: undercut. Job done! |
