8m. A technical test-piece, although less so than Ready Brek. Start left of Rubberneck and climb the wall diagonally leftwards (a little lower than you might expect) by a mega-stretch (6c for shorties?). Escape off left. USER COMMENTS
A truly excellent route, quite difficult to read at first as you need to break out along the flakes earlier than you think.
a bit of a reach ,but o.k..brill move.
Brilliant moves, but is this do-able if you're less than 6 feet tall - it's a huge span left, unless you use 2 tiny intermediate dinks (6c?). Worth cleaning finishing holds from ledge above, as they get grubby (and you can check what you're aiming for!)
"Is this do-able if you're less than 6 feet tall"? Well I'm less than 6 foot and I've done it, though I agree that a long reach helps considerably. A great little route and very safe. |
