22m. An arduous outing up the right-hand side of the wall - bold and fierce. Climb the wall (technical crux) to a peg then head right to a flake under the overhang. Pull leftwards over this (peg) and head left to a resting ledge. Finish steeply on better holds. USER COMMENTS
Has this ever had a second ascent, the start is absolutely baffling.
Yes. I watched someone who now works at AW Stockport do it with the direct V9ish start a few summers ago. The poor boy didn't even realise it was E5 until I told him some time later. He did at least have the decency to be very chuffed when I told him though. |
