18m. The deep rift is approached via wide bridging to reach a scratched slab. From the small ledge above the left end of this slab mantel into the chimney and follow it throughout. The exit is tricky. Originally split at a belay on the 'small ledge'.

I thought the start was hard (4b), the move onto the small ledge harder (4c), and the mantel above that also 4c. The 'tricky' exit was about VDiff. Overall top end HS 4c, (harder than Mermaid's Ridge).
Whoever voted S 4a must have been on a different route!
