20m. A bold number. Climb Mad Karoo to the break then head up into the shallow groove using a good pocket to make a harrowing reach for the good edge above. Exit rightwards from the ledge up juggy rock. USER COMMENTS
A scary E1. Fingery climbing.
More excellent delicate climbing, more consistent than End Of Time. Might be a good cam around the break so not bad for E1 if there is....the upper crimps are a little tenuous though.
E2 in my book, way bold for E1, good cam though, but you would not want to fall off.
Nice route, good cam in pocket below crux so not too bold - certainly not worth E1. Hardest part by far is mantel move at the bottom! Aside from that E15a fine.

A seriously good route (though sort of surprised how good it was). Great climbing throughout and quite spicy for the grade, but certainly steady moves. Take a selection of cams-red camalot downwards, and nothing else. |
