26m. An early attempt on this part of the face, and a good line though suffering from grass-itis. Climb the steep flake/crack to the break then traverse left to below the base of the open groove. A short pumpy wall gives access to the more pleasant groove above. USER COMMENTS
This route is in desperate need of a clean. The final groove, far from being pleasant, is nearly unclimbable at the moment.
Climbed this one about three years ago and found the lower section relatively straightforward, the middle awkward, and the final groove absolutely hateful. I don't know where it got its srar from!
I don't agree with the comments abot the final groove - it needs a clean but it is sustained at the grade and well protected - hateful certainly not. Overall a fascinating trip! |
