A perfect beginners fist jamming route. Easy to protect well with a couple of large friends.
I found the crack readily protectable with hexes. It was also beautifully slimy following this summer's rain!
A nice little route, can jam all parts of your body in for practice!
Left arete of the crack is good at VS 4c
Much better suited to a first Severe lead than Route 2 - I soloed this pretty comfortably, but big hexes (or size 3, 3.5 cams) would have made it safe - and wouldn't have been difficult to place. Nice route. First one at Burbage I've really liked. |
