A short wall split by a series of cracks and with a bunch of low grade climbs. The area provides a good area for knocking off a heap of routes or maybe instructing in the basics of gritstone climbing away from the busy areas further left.
Approach (see map on page 477) - The wall is just right of the point where the approach path arrives at the crag.

Bell Bottom Arete
At the left-hand edge of the wall, gain a hanging groove and then climb the crack in the arete. Short-lived but pretty steep.

Sailor's Crack
Climb the overhanging crack, just right of the arete, on solid jams to a tricky exit. Another steep one that packs a punch.

Reef Knot
The centre of the face has nice moves passing the overlap (hidden footholds) leading to a rounded finish.

The right-hand side gives more of the same.

Nautical Crack
The two parallel cracks lead to an inverted-V slot with a block in its base. A tricky couple of moves complete the climb.

Heave over the bulge and scuttle up the short slab above.

The crack in a shallow corner is approached via a shallow groove and proves to be well protected and very pleasant.
