Sheltered

Aptly named, but well-worth thrashing through the undergrowth to reach. A wall of perfect granite in two sections, either side of a holly tree, gives some great highballs with landings which vary from okay to plain awful. All of the problems are worthwhile and follow strong lines. Guidebook page 185.

An Eskdale mini-classic. After a hard start from the block at the base, climb the groove and don't fall off.

Essentially a burly variation start to the Groove, but just as good as the original. Start from sitting, with a good undercut...
