'B' Buttress is the centre of the three taller buttresses - the ancients avoided the temptation to call it A-nother Buttress. It is less popular than 'A' Buttress though it does have some good climbing. It is possible to easily finish up one of the short routes on Buttress Face to extend the pleasure. Right again is 'D' Buttress, the last piece of rock described here. Seekers of solitude might want to explore West End Buttress which is even further west, close to the main path to the top of Simonside. Guidebook page 300.
