Bird's Nest Bay is a small but inherently safe DWS zone, found in two small bays under the route Bird's Nest at Subluminal. Mid to high tide is best for access, the rock is excellent, and all the routes are short and sweet. The water is rarely that deep (around 2-3m at best) but as the routes are so short, water depth is not really an issue. The routes average around 6m high, they're on good quality crinkly rock throughout, and often quite sustained for their length. Combine this sector with the neighbouring Tilly Whim, and you'll have some fine, short pieces of rock to play on.
