Clearly visible from the causeway across Djupfjord is this clean domed buttress of excellent granite. It looks quite small from the road, but is over 60m tall and has a pair of excellent climbs. Approach - Boulder-hop along the beach for ten minutes then scramble up the open gully to the right of the buttress to reach the ledges below the face - 15-20 minutes from the road. Descent - Abseil from the belay bolts. Two 60m ropes will just get you back to the start of Mr Hyde on the stretch.
