Perhaps the most famous sector at Céüse. The routes here are steep and sustained, but with good holds on which to get pumped. Expect a fair bit of polish on the classic routes, as they get plenty of traffic. If you want the shade, get an early start, though there is some shade for belaying at the base even in the mid-day sun. If the waterfall is running, you can avoid carrying water to the grade by filling your bottles at its base. Guidebook page 32.
