A varied and popular wall that gets the shade in the early afternoon. The left side of Château is well populated with routes in the 4s and 5s and is very popular with novice groups. The character of the right-end of the crag is defined by a number of steep, sustained lines. There are still a range of lower-grade routes that are well-placed as warm-ups, but expect these to be quite polished. Guidebook page 70.
