Doyden Point is a friendly cliff that enjoys a sunny outlook with a choice of good routes to keep most content for an afternoon. It is only a short distance from the quaint fishing village of Port Isaac and the surf beaches of Polzeath.
Approach - Walk out of the car park and go left and up the steep road, past a hairpin, and then take a path on the right over a wall. Ahead is a distinct folly on the left-hand of a twin topped headland. Doyden Cliff is on the opposite side of the right-hand summit. An easy path contours to the top of the crag (10 minutes). Abseil direct down the main corner to sloping ledges below the wall.
