Running on from the Realm of Chaos Area, The Mask Area offers some similar terrain, but on the whole, the quality is not as high and the rock is less reliable. A number of the routes cross an unstable band of chert at mid-height that requires careful handling. Use 60m ropes. Guidebook page 154.
