A short, but reasonably-long level with some nice easy sport routes. Most of the routes were developed by Josie Ball and her brother Archie who were about 11 and 7 years old at the time, after their father bolted the lines up for them. They are among the best easy sport routes in the quarries and are very popular. Approach (see photo on page 54) - From the col, head to the left of Just for Fun (page 55) and follow the incline up one level. From here take a small track on the left up to another level. The Sidings are along this level. Guidebook page 58.

Follow the narrow pillar at the left-hand end of this level. The top move is very hard.

Climb out right from first bolt of 'N' Gauge, past some bolts, to a lower-off.

The slabby line just to the right of Derailed.

Start up the corner on the left-hand side of the next clean slab. Continue up the slab above to the lower-off.

The Level Crossing
A traverse of the slab following the distinct break. Start up Rack and Pin, then follow the break to finish at Ivor the Engine.
