Durdle Door has some fine, well-bolted sport routes that are located on the seaward face of the arch and should be regarded as serious undertakings.
Approach - Durdle Door can be easily reached from Lulworth Cove. A path leads down to the arch. Once on the ridge, scramble rightwards to the col before the final summit. Abseil down the seaward face to reach the platform from blocks and threads. There is a hidden ledge for gearing up on the far side of the ridge.
Tides - The start ledge is covered at high tide.
