The most popular buttress on the cliff and with good reasons; it is the tallest piece of rock here and the majority of the climbs are well worth doing. High Buttress Arete is one of the Peak’s better Diffs and a great introduction to the cliff on whichever end of the rope. Guidebook page 114.
