NY 344148 825m. E Facing. This is the large Cove between Nethermost Pike and Helvellyn. Currently there are very few routes in this area but it clearly has more potential. The right side of the cove where Nethermost Gully is situated is known as Lad Crag. Swallow Scarf Crag is just left of the lowest point in the rim of the Cove and Pikes Gully and Huckleberry Grooves are on the NE Face of Nethermost Pike on the left side of the Cove. Approach up Grisedale via the path on the N side of the valley cutting up Nethermost Beck into the Cove. Descent: To the south (left side looking at the crag), and descend via the east ridge of Nethermost Pike.
