SD 272981 630m. E Facing. This the large broken crag above Low Water on the E side of Coniston Old Man. Conditions are more reliable than Dow Crag. The icefall of Percy's Passage is a good route especially when linked with an ascent of Low Water Beck on the approach which is classic in itself. Approach from the Walna Scar Road Car Park at 289971 or if the road is blocked walk in from the centre of Coniston via Church Beck. Descent: To the south (left side looking at the crag) and down the tourist track from the summit of Coniston Old Man.
