12 minsThe most popular climbing at Isili is on a near-perfect vertical wall of pocketed rock at the far end of the valley. A pleasant flat base and routes of the ‘tick-until-you-drop’ variety make this an ideal place to get some mileage in. The central section of the crag is where most people gather. There are plenty of ‘orange spot’ routes to get your fingers stuck into, all with immaculate climbing on big pocket-covered rock. Just make sure you don’t walk too far to the right since the wall steepens up and become strangely reminiscent of Bout de Monde at Buoux in France. Guidebook page 9.
