NY 197215 300m NE Facing Force crag offers a brilliant open ice route. Funny conditions are needed to bring the route into good condition. A prolonged cold spell with North Easterlies is needed. North Easterlies normally bring a dump of snow and aren't associated with long cold spells in the Lakes. Be patient. Approach: Go up Coledale on the miners track from Braithwaite. If there's not too much snow a bike will make the approach much quicker.
