Dovedale runs parallel to Deepdale starting from Brothers Water. It is most famous for Dove Crag and Black Crag Ice Fall. Inaccessible gully is an old classic but does take some time to come into condition. Black Crag Ice Fall is situated at a lower attitude but usually forms after 4 or 5 days of hard frosts. You can usually park at the Brothers Water Inn GR 403119 but it may be worth checking at the Inn first if there are lots of cars. The alternatives are any of the less convenient lay-bys south of the Inn.
