The valley directly behind the village of Coniston between The Old Man and Wetherlam. There are lots of small crags in this area and in a good winter there is lots to do. The layout means that you can conveniently link several crags in a grand tour of the area. Approach up Copper Mines Road, parking about 100m past the Black Bull Pub.
