A fine but neglected quarry in an impressive setting. The crag has an excellent set of crack climbs and although the walk up tends to put people off, the effort made to get here is repaid in full. There are a dozen routes in the left-hand bay but these are overgrown and unpopular. The Central Bay is better though turf tufts sprout from the most inconvenient of places; please remove any grass (its not an endangered species!) you pass in an attempt to keep these great routes clean enough to be climbed. The Arete is especially fine and is worth the walk up.
