The beautifully located C'an Nyic crag is a long wall of excellent vertical rock that stretches up the hillside high above the mountain village of Fornalutx, one of the most charming in the mountains just to the east of Sóller. Although there is not a great number of routes they are mostly high quality and when combined with the mountain scenery make this a spot not to be overlooked. For a half day it is possible to combine C'an Nyic with Gorg Blau or Port de Sóller. A good non-climbing alternative is to combine a visit with a trip to the gorge of Torrent de Pareis or, if time is tight, a drive to the base of the gorge at Sa Calobra. For those more interested in a relaxing time the cafe/bar in Fornalutx is sublime.
