In contrast to the rest of the crags on the Eglweseg escarpment the mix of traditional and sport pitches in the Trevor Area are on quarried limestone. Although the routes are not of great height the rock, technicalites and outlook over Llangollen and Castell Dinas to Mid Wales make a visit well worthwhile for those looking for good mid grade sports lines.
