Not one of the North East's prime venues, but the cliff's accessibility, largely ever-dry nature and general steepness means it is worth at least one visit if you are passing by, if only to tick the classics. Even in poor weather the Low Level Girdle is a good bet for a heart-warming work-out and it is only a three minute downhill walk from the car.
