MILL SIDE SCAR

Mill Side Scar is the prominent small crag, on the corner of the escarpment, to the west of the much larger White Scar. Although only a minor crag it has a small number of reasonable routes and it makes a good venue for those who have climbed everything elsewhere. Like many of the crags in this area it can often be a good option when the weather is bad in the central Lakes. The rock on some of the routes is slightly suspect and the majority start up a wall of poor rock which requires care.
