The Chevin overlooks the lower reaches of the Wharfe Valley to the east of Otley. The main crag here is a fine natural buttress which offers a small selection of good climbs if the conditions are right - it is north-facing so pick a good day. There is also a quarried section which has a few reasonable routes up clean crack-lines and smooth grooves. There is a good spread of grades on generally excellent rock and the pitches are quite long, which is a nice change for gritstone.
