DUNGECROFT QUARRY

Dungecroft Quarry is a very long, but short escarpment composed of, for the most part, compact vertical rock and some excellent flowstone. Dungecroft has been heavily developed in recent times, and now has plenty of well-bolted lines that are worth a look. The climbs are generally pretty tough for the grade, and some of them surprisingly pumpy given their lack of height. The other advantage of this area is its very sheltered aspect and extremely convenient location - only a minute or so from the parking.
