THE MOELWYNS

Situated above the village of Blaenau Ffestiniog, the Moelwyns crags offer some great climbs especially in the easier grades on Clogwyn yr Oen and Craig yr Wrysgan, and some much steeper and more challenging routes on Craig y Clipiau. As this is a quiet backwater, you can often escape the crowds of Ogwen or Tremadog on even the warmest of summer days. There are three main crags covered in this book, all accessed from the same carpark below the disused quarry above Tan y Grisiau (which can be bewildering to find on first acquaintance).
