New Books for the Autumn

Paul Phillips at High Tor (Right Wing)

We have had a reshuffle of our printing schedule for the Autumn and decided to delay Peak Limestone publication until early in 2012. Work was well progressed on the book but there was still much checking to be done and things have also been surprisingly active on the white stuff this year. We were heading for a publication date of late September which is about the time people usually stop climbing on Peak Limestone, which seemed a little crazy.

So the plan is now to concentrate on Languedoc-Roussillon, part 3 of our France series, and then a new Dorset book before Christmas. This gives books which better fit the seasons and also allows us more time to do a better job of Peak Limestone.

France: Languedoc-Roussillon

This will cover the superb climbing from the Ardeche to Orgon,  through Alés area and Montpellier, and across to the Gorges du Tarn and Le Jonte area. The other two books in the France series have help lots of travelling climbers discover, and rediscover, the fantastic sport climbing on offer in France – this books just adds much more to the repertoire. Dorset

This will be a major update and reworking of one of our oldest titles featuring all the new routes plus new many big full page crag photos. More info…
