The sprawling mass of boulders under the Cuttings Main Cliff on Portland has been developed to give an interesting and varied (if a little esoteric) bouldering venue. Despite rather inauspicious beginnings, and the generally small stature of the boulders, a number of quality problems have been discovered creating the largest bouldering area on the island. There are problems of all grades from V0 up to a current ceiling of V8.
A condensed version of this MiniGUIDE, with simpler maps, shorter descriptions and only 50 or so problems, has been included in the Dorset Rockfax book published in July 2005.

The problems have been described in three separate circuits; a green circuit (up to V2), the Orange cicuit (V3 to V5), and the black circuit (V6 and above). NOTE - these colour ranges are slightly different to those covered in other Rockfax publications.
