Dorset (2000)

The second edition of the Dorset ROCKFAX was published in 2000 and, like the first edition, it was written by Pete Oxley. It was the first Dorset ROCKFAX to include the trad climbing at Swanage and sold out in just under 3 years proving that demand had increased since 1994.

Bishop Bouldering

North Wales Limestone (1992)

The second ROCKFAX covered the Ormes of Llandudno and was written by Steve Mayers who put in a great effort to get some amazing photos of all the crags. This was the first book to use the now-familiar ROCKFAX symbols.

Yorkshire Limestone

The opening publication from ROCKFAX was to the fast-developing area of Yorkshire Limestone and featured photo-topos, very basic descriptions and was the guidebook that broke the mould for British guidebooks. It was briefly updated in 1993 with an orange Yorkshire Limestone topo-card by Alan James and Mick Ryan. Now updated and covered in Northern Limestone.
